Susan joined the department in March 2001 and has spent most of her service as Secretary of the department.  She also serves as Chair on the membership committee.  Susan has extensive knowledge in human resources and the administrative field as this is her profession.

Matthew joined the department early in 2002, and has been an EMS officer since 2003. Matthew is also largely responsible for the technology in use within the department.

David Markell Joined Yorkshire Volunteer Fire Dept. April 4th 2004 following in his mother's footsteps. He has ambitions to take it a step further and go career one day. He is a very dedicated member and loves spending as much time as possible at the department. David is responsible for the station locker tags and par tags as well as the station IDs, he is also the station health and sftey officer as well as the the NIMS compliance officer for the dept.

Rob joined the Yorkshire Volunteer Fire Department in October, 1997. Outside of performing his duties as the vice president and a firefighter, Rob has been busy completing two masters degree programs over the past four years. He graduated from Norwich University in 2009 with a masters degree in Educational Leadership. In addition he just recently earned his second masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University in 2011. Shortly after graduating, Rob was hired by Fairfax County Public Schools as a preschool special education teacher at Fort Belvoir Elementary School.
